Widow 101

One must feel their soul light up, shining from deep within. The world will inevitably try to take that shine, molding it into what it must—sometimes dimming it, sometimes testing it. But we must press against the urge to fall back into the shadows, to forget the radiant light we carry inside. We must remember that we all have the power to shine, to illuminate from within.

There are moments when life feels heavy, and it’s hard to keep that spark alive. But sometimes, even when the world feels distant or unseeing, we must make the choice to let that inner sparkle rise to the surface. When you let it shine through, even just a little, the world begins to recognize the incredible power you hold within.

This is my prayer for you, my loves—those of you who are widowed, walking this painful yet beautiful journey. You are never alone. Even in your quietest moments, even in the spaces where no one sees, your light is still there. I see it. I feel it and I believe in it.

You shine bright, even when you feel as though you’re fading into the background. Keep pressing forward, because the world needs the light you bring. Let your soul glow from within, and allow it to touch those around you in ways you may never even fully understand.

You are powerful. You are beautiful and your light is undeniable.
